Bottle shared. Black with short lasting beige head that leaves a light beige ring. Massive sweet whisky, vanilla, some roasted grains, fruit candy, dark chocolate, cola, some spices, old wood. Really sweet with soft roasted bitter notes. Full bodied with very light carbonation. Very nice, a little bit more carbonation would make this a really good beer.

Bottleshare at Leighton’s Stratoflat. Almost opaque dark reddish brown beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Smooth palate, modest fine carbonation. Good tangy whisky soaked fruits. Berry fruits underneath. Mild straight whisky, no heat. Light finish. Very tasty but flat body lets it down.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s. It pours dark ruby-black with pretty much no head. The nose is rich, oily, Vimto, glazier cherry, px port wine, wood, jammy fruits, lights vanilla, liquorice and vinous notes. The taste is rich, oily, so very fruity, jammy fruits, port wine, wood, light whisky, Black Forest gateaux, liquorice, light medicinal and wood with a slick, oily finish. Medium - full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Could be done with a bit more carbonation, but it has a rather good depth of flavour. Quaffable.

330ml bottle shared with jeevan. Pours opaque dark brown. Seems flat at first, but there is the merest tickle of tiny bubbles. Round the rim. Aromas of chocolate and light whisky. Taste is chocolate dominated too, lightly fruity. Surprisingly thin though.
