Opaque dark brown colour, good frothy beige head, good retention and lacing. Aroma light roasted malts, light coffee, bit liquorice. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, malty, ice coffee, light liquorice, average duration. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, thinnish bittersweet finish, metallic notes, rather thin porter, more like a dunkel, anyway much too thin.

Tap @ South Western Arms, Southamton. Dark brown almost black body with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malt. Flavor is smooth, mild roasted malt, quite sweet, some dry fruit and moderate in bitterness. Medium bodied and nice aftertaste of sweet, roasted malt. Feels a bit week at the first few sips, not particular complex either, then I start to enjoy it more and actually thing its quite nice, especially considering less than 4% alcohol I think it’s a decent and easy drinkable porter I might have a few pints more of.

11.2 oz bottle from the Brewers Project variety pack. Aroma is a tad skunky (it goes away after a minute or two), roasty, bready, chocolate, caramel, . Pours black with red highlights and a beige collapsing head. Taste is roasty, dry and lightly bitter with a somewhat grassy, herbal hop profile. Thin-bodied. Not bad.

Bottle from Costco. Pours a dark black color that really has a ton of reddish colors to it. A typical Guinness nose of roast, metal, caramel. Smooth, light roast, cola, caramel, soft brown sugar. Quite nice. The abv is very low but this is flavorful.

11.2 ounce bottle from the Brewers Project Pack. Clear dark brown, large foamy and frothy brown head, fair retention, lots of visible carbonation. Aroma of chocolate, roast and a bit of a twang. The taste is raisin, chocolate, roast, dark jammy fruits. Thin-medium bodied, highly carbonated. Solid and drinkable.

Bottle at home. Almost black with small dark beige head. Light chocolate, herbs, chalk. There’s some roasted and malty notes, but this is mosltly watery chocolate with light minerals. Very light sweet and light bitter. Light bodied. Not great, but considering the ABV it’s quite OK, way better than the Guinness draught garbage.

Bottled 500ml-Courtesy of and shared with Domagoj (thanks!). Darker brown coloured with red glare, small tan head, mild roasty nose. Roasted malt, some caramel, bread, touch of chocolate and short roasty finish. Lack of body is evident. It promises but...
