Keg at BBF 6, 26/09/14. Extremely dark mahogany brown with moderate khaki spotting and edgework. Nose is dark berry fruits, earthy, bitter notes, light cocoa rub, tangy berries. Taste comprises soured berry fruits, spice, straw, damp hay, toffee, earthy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok sour but not a huge amount of depth.

Tap at Borefts 2014. Pours clear dark brown with a bubbly ring tan head. Aroma of tart fruit, some funk, chocolate, caramel, soy and roast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Clear red brown beer, creamy irregular beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: dried fruits, roast, some caramel, malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, coffee, roast, little sour, hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste: roast, coffee, sourish, hops.

Had this at Borefts BF, Bodegraven, Netherlands, Friday 26th September 2014. Pours black with filmy edge/rim. Soft in mouth drinks very easy for 8%. Streaky, citrus, soft mouthfeel even a little lingering dark chocolate. Good beer. A7 A4 T8 P3 Ov15 3.7
