Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer of 8.8% ABV and sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour. The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.
A beer with body… the full flavour combined with the alcohol give you a warm feeling that slowly eases away.

75cl bottle. Pours classic gold with medium-high white foam, fine. Aroma is intense of esters, like banana and peach. Body is fairly dense, carbonated and pretty sticky in the mouth. Taste is intensely sweet, with limited bitterness. Finish is not particularly long.

16th May 2017. 33cl bottle: BBD 18th Jul 2018. Drank at a beach bar in West Ende while enjoying the afternoon sun. Poured without any sediment leaving the bottle: clear golden body, snowy white head. Spicey and malty beer with the alcohol level almost hidden by the flavours, bready and semi-sweet: liked it.

Bottle at Pro Deo, Bruges. Pours clear golden and fizzing with a lasting, frothy, white head. The aroma contains bread, lots of fruits (apple, peach), hops, malt, yeast (as expected). It tastes medium to heavy fruity sweet (a bit cloying in the end) and light bitter. The finish is very light hoppy with warming alcohol; fizzy carbonation, oily texture. All aspects passed the minimum expectations; I’m guessing it’s another Belgian Strong Ale...

Fles geprobeerd met LiekevdV bij eeterij uniek in Beek en Donk. Het is een licht mat geel bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een lekkere frisse wat kruidige smaak.

17/XI/16 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 17/VII/18 (2016-1308)
Clear golden blond to almost orange beer, big creamy crackling off-white head, very stable, little adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: banana, yeast, pretty spicy, coriander and orange peel, malty, grain touch, sweet caramel. MF: very lively carbon, way too much, medium body. Taste: banana up front, then very spicy, coriander, crushed pepper. Aftertaste: spicy, coriander, banana peel, soft bitterness, yeasty, sweet touch. No yeast in the glass, practically none in the bottle either. So probably filled under pressure, but way too much then.
