Bottle sample @ Vini Birre Ribelli ’16 shared with 77ship and Tderoeck.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje & tderoeck! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. Darker clear orange. Nose milky old oak, stale wine barrel, brett. Taste is oxidized, leaves, flat, brett, Madeira, low butter, bit too stale & oxidized tasted for its own good despite being just released, getting strong oxidized wine notes. almost no bitterness, body is oxidized wine. Interesting but I liked the non-brett version a lot more.

Clear dark orange to amber beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sourish, white, pretty oxidized, funky, brett notes. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: sour start, some lacto, lemony touch, bit watery. Aftertaste: little malty, fruity notes, citric, soft bitterness.
