One of three beers we collaborated on with Wild Weather. As if a coconut just fell on your head, a whiff of this stout and you get coconuts! Teaming dried coconut with Sorachi Ace hops means the coconut factor is amplified and well-matched in a fruity meets robust stout. Chocolate and dark malts work well to balance the sweeter flavours and a fresh bitterness keeps the beer from being too heavy.

Opaque dark brown beer, fluffy tan head. Palate is airy and a little dry, decent carbonation. Thin but smooth dark malts, dry and with a trace of bitter roast. Touches of bitterish dark chocolate and coffee. The coconut is not that sweet, comes over as more like coconut milk. Bitterish finish. Not bad but for me wasn’t sweet enough.

Taste comprises Bounty Bar, chocolate, toffee fudge, mellow roast, light black pepper to balance. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid flavoursome coconut fuelled stout.
