Keg @ House of Hammerton, Highbury. Very dark, it has a strength-infused fudge-brownie taste, and a deep tasting one. There’s plenty of nose and although the brew is excellent, you couldn’t drink too much of this in one go given its depth.

Third, tap at BrewDog Brighton, Collabfest 2019. Shared with Finn. Filmy layer, spotty lacing, jet black in the glass. Appealing chocolate nose, hints of nuts. Earthy chocolate to the taste buds joined by moments of coconuts. Ends dry, lightly roasted. Fine depth- Good drinking. (Brighton 17.10.2019).

Keg at BrewDog Canary Wharf - London. Pours black-brown with a cream, khaki head. Not bad, with moderate sweetness, some dry cocoa, maple, burnt toast. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, some toasted walnuts, more cocoa, maple. Novel. A bit obvious with the adjuncts but not too bad.

Keg at BD Sheps Boost, 18/10/19. Light black with a tan cap that dissipates edgeward. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate, brown sugars, light spice, nutty. Taste comprises sweet chocolate , toffee fudge, trace of coffee, brown sugar melt, nutty. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Does what it says on the tin but a touch sweet for my liking.
