75 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 08/2012+ (out of range error with label)
Aroma is sour with grapefruit and lots of earthy and bretta tones. Also some urinal cake. Flavour is sour and tart with some grapefruit tones and urinal cake. Finishes with some unpleasant milky tones. Nice anyway.

Dark orange colour with an off-white head with good duration and nice lacework. Aroma with wooden notes, caramel, moderate malty and some spicy notes. Flavor is sourish with bready notes, good maltiness, slightly citrus and tartar notes. Sourish final with good duration, slightly dry on palate with wooden notes.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours brassy gold with a slight head. Aroma is a bit sweet/tart. Dusty. Hints of apples. Med body or better. Flavor is earthy tart. Gets a bit grapey. A touch of must. So a sour/earthy/tart finish with some woody notes.

750 ml bottle. Pours clear orange/brown with lots of carbonation but light head. Aromas of brett, oranges, and a bit of basement. Flavors of lemons/limes, wet wood, and sour green grapes. Tart start, somewhat creamy? finish.

Bottle from tom10101. Aroma is fairly fruity with pineapple and tropical fruit. Some pear and faint red apple notes as well. Moderate citrus notes and light acidity. Medium light peppercorn phenolic notes. Light graininess. Overall very fruity with a nice complexity. As it warms the wine character is a bit more present. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a big pillowy, slightly off white head. Medium lack g with no legs. Head has really nice retention and a film lingers throughout. Flavor is a bit different from the aroma with a much more white wine forward character. Medium light acidity upfront welcomes in light oak tannins and medium oak notes. Flavor still has pear, red apple and tropical fruit but within the confines of a white wine barrel. Lingering tannins and white wine notes in the finish. Medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall a very enjoyable Saison. I found the aroma to be exactly what I am looking for in a Saison, but the flavor was a bit more wine forward than I would have liked. Nice fruity notes though with a balanced acidity and decent Brett character.

Very well-balanced sour. Nice level of bretta and some fruity orange tangerine. Some funky malt as well. Sour and bitter finish. Everything blends well here. Some tang as well. Bottle at Volo for Zwanze Day.

750mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a hazy golden / copper wit medium white head. Aroma of noble rot wine barrels, some brett, and barnyard notes. Flavour brings out loads of brett, some horse blanket, strong wine barrels a la noble rot, and dry citrus skin. Amazing complexity, with loads of vinous and wild notes. Exceedingly high drinkability, with the brett and wine barrels used to perfection. Most excellent stuff.
