When introspection fails, it’s time to look outward for inspiration, perhaps Northward! One of the people who inspired me this past year is my friend Gabe Fletcher, of Anchorage Brewing Co. We brewed this biére together. I hope it inspires you. Northward!

Bottle, 75cl corked. A lightly hazy golden beer with a dense, off-white head. There’s lots of sourish apricots, oranges and lemon on the nose, with some funky notes. Spiced hints in the back. The flavor is faintly sweet, but it’s the apricotish, orangey flavors that dominates with the fruity sourness. Full to medium body with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish where the bitterness get to show off. A wonderful one, tasteful, quenching and refreshing, a beer I could drink often. 140830
