Oily looking opaque black brown beer, teeny tiny tan head, mayfly lifespan. Smooth, a little airy, modest fine carbonation. The dark malts do their job and deliver smooth dark chocolate and cream and then get out of the way of the JD barrelling which is smooth but rich. Good oak barrel vanilla and super smooth rich fruity bourbon. Light finish. No heat at all and just a tiny bit of spice. A very smooth BBA Impy. Just a little more carbonation....

Bottle at a tasting, thanks to Wendigo. Very full body, med-high carbonation. Moderate warming alcohol, but very pleasantly rounded. Loads of dried fruits, cherry. Lots of chocolate, cocoa, only a bit of deep roast. Moderate woodiness, light coconut. Very intense, really a sipper. But one that I could drink a lot of. Great.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with no real head or carbonation. Aroma of strong Jack Daniels notes with some dry bitter chocolate notes is interesting. Taste is also a mix of heavy Jack Daniels notes with some dry bitter malt chocolate notes and no residual sugar notes. Body is about average with very minimal carbonation and quite a bit of warming alcohol notes. Enjoyable but barrel notes are maybe tad overwhelming.
