Bottle. Clear deep gold, there is a ring of white at the rim. Aroma of boot polish, grapes, some caramel and light dough. Not quite flat. Moody fruit, mild funk, some caramel edged dough and bread. A little acidic but not sour. Peppery oaked finish.

A very light haze on this gold beer, teeny tiny pale cream colour head. Has the acetic lemon worry that I really do not like but tempers it well with a good oak roundness. Touch of vanilla. Mildly acetic finish. Not bad for a non sour lover and an acid hater.

Bottle at my long overdue return to London and the Kernel. Cheers! It pours clear orangey with a small white head. The aroma is soft, some heavy sweetness, tangy, musty barnyard, straw, hay, earthy, dirty, dry oak and light lactic action. The taste is not as sweet as the aromas suggests... it's crisp, dry, snappy, lactic, tangy, granny smith, melon, pear, spot plooms, candy, boozey, acidity, sour action and grape must with a drying finish with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fun stuff.

Bottle, taster. @Artbeerfest 2019 bottle share, Caminha (Portugal). 13/07/2019. Clear golden, no head. Aroma is wine barrels, tannins, oak and tart. Taste is full of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, tannins, oak barrels and tart leading to a medium acidic finish. Hybrid. It´s interesting but obviously overpriced (25€ a bottle, jesus). Next one please!
