On tap at the brewery, “Galaxy DDH”. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with medium white head. The aroma is citrus and pine. Medium body, tropical fruit, juicy, pine, light bitterness, very good.

Hazy, murky orange, white head. Lemon and mango aroma. Actually smells juicy... Very juicy flavour, sweet mango, lots of sweet lemon. Light biscuity malt backing. A little light perhaps but quite flavourful and drinkable. Nice.

(On tap @ Birreria Volo, Toronto, Aug 7 2019) Very hazy orange gold pour, small white head, lace. Aroma of mandarin and yuzu zest, mandarin pulp, fresh pine, aromatic and not terribly modern juice. Flavour follows, dry with mandarin pulp and aromatic citrus peels to the fore, zippy fresh conifers and fresh grass, off dry finishing moderately bitter. Medium bodied with average plus carb. Solid slightly west-coast styled IPA given the hop profile, bitterness and lack of plush estery yeast character.

Can shared at tasting. Unclear yellow color, white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, a bit sweetish in the aroma, flavor a little less. Quite okay.

16oz can consumed from the can. Nose is malt, soap, pine, potpourri. Flavor has orange rind, soap, dried herbs, crackery malt. Finishes dry, some bitterness. Fine.

Can at home from an onliner (really can't recall who), 11/08/20. Murky orange with a decent white cap. Nose is orange pith, grass, pineapple, toasted malts, citric tinged straw, ripe melon. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, light pine, grapefruit, hint of weed, airy malts, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. Ok IPA ... easy drinking, a slight old school lilt, and well balanced but not worth paying the high import cost for a 3.6/7 kind of beer ... needs to be approaching 4.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a very dense, thick three centimetre tall tan head that stays afloat nicely, for a long time after pouring. Aroma of fruits - grapefruit, oranges, tangerines and a hint of mangoes, with a light peppery and herbal scent along with some good bitterness. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and bitter notes dominate with a nice fresh hop flavour with a very light sweetness and some floral notes, but this really is about the pungent citrus fruits - primarily the grapefruit zest and deep orange/tangerine flavours that hit nicely, but strong! Aftertaste is rich, quite bitter, but full of flavour - all with the fresh hops at the center, but some light alcohol and grass cuts through, as does some sweetness from fruit, but not much at all. Overall, a nice hazyish IPA that has some citrus, but (aside from the look) almost feels like a plain East Coast IPA to me. Good to try and a nice option now here in DC! I sampled this one fresh, the same day as the purchase! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 09-July-2020 for US$2,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on the same day, 09-July-2020 just a few blocks away.
