Bottle shared with Niller, thanks to Henrik for this - pours black with a tan head. Medium roasted and sweet malty with strong chocolate prominence, both milky and dark cocoa, some caramel, nuances of vanilla throughout,

Pour is a complete black with a large tan head. Aroma is a strong chocolate with a nice roasted malt. Flavor is rich roasted malt with more of a nice cocoa nibs bitterness. Nice thick mouthfeel that coats the tongue as this goes down. Not getting much of a chili presence, also not getting any alcohol presence. Where I don’t get much from the chilies you get the chocolate used in spades. Quite flavorful and a solid stout.

12oz bottle. Oily, viscous, syrupy. Not much pepper heat, mostly just on onslaught of sweetness, the vanilla really isn’t a bonus. Comes off to me as one of these DME or sugar stouts, not really much malt depth for 9%. OK, kind of tame for the style which can be fun.
