For 80 years Red Stripe has embodied the spirit, rhythm and pulse of Jamaica and its people. Eugene Desnoes & Thomas Geddes really started something special in Kingston back in 1918. Barley malt and the finest Yakima hops were combined with lots of island attitude to give Red Stripe its now world famous easy taste. Enjoy the Jamaican easy vibe.

Can. Clear golden colour, white foam. Light sweet malty, some bitterness. Not the baddest lager.

Bottle from Krogers. Pale yellow with bright white head and light body. Faint fruity hops aroma, sweet mild thin taste. Clean sweet malt aftertaste. Ok, if Coors Light is the alternative.

Within the style it's all right. Has substantially more flavour than american light lagers. And decent body for the style surprisingly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
