A stronger version of our Lost and Found Abbey Ale brewed to a more contemplative alcohol content.
Massive in every stretch of the brewing way possible this is the sort of beer that will remind a beer drinker who considers themselves a saint that even saints stray as sinners from time to time.

This pours a cloudy brown with reddish hues and a very small head of foam that shrinks to just a ring around the glass almost immediately. When I popped the cork, it was the lightest sounding "pop" I've ever heard from a corked bottle.
The smell has all sorts of goodies going on. Dark fruit like plum, raisins, and some spices greet my nose buds.
The taste has all that fruit in spades with some toffee and molasses and when I swish the beer in my mouth, I get some tartness and a bit of funk and yeast. There's some spice here as well and as the label says it's Rosemary, I'm going with that. ;^) There's also a noticeable alcohol kick here as it's quite warming during and after the swallow.
The mouthfeel is a very light medium and the carbonation is so low it's almost nonexistant. That could be improved upon as it reminds of drinking wine not beer!
Bottom line: I like the flavours here, kind of reminds me of an Oud Bruin, but the lack of carbonation and the strong presence of alcohol limit the drinkability for me.

Deep ruby color with a fine frothy off white head. Good lacing. Looks nice. Solid aroma with a fine intensity. Full body and a tad rich carbonation level. Oily texture. Balanced sweetness. Dried fruits, some spices, chocolate, yeast and vinous flavor. Good complexity. Solid stuff.

Clear, deep dark red and brown beer with medium but quickly vanishing head. Aroma has alcohol, dreid fruits, mostly plum and raisins. Also some berries, licorice and vanilla can be found. Taste has dried fruits, mostly plum, and also lots of spices, malts and warm alcohol. Some port wine feeling. Quite full body with lots of carbonation. Refreshing and easy to drink, however.

And so it came to pass that six like minded people met on the 20th day of November in the year of 2016: those six people shared twenty five fine beers. This is one of those twenty five. We all agreed it had a magnolia coloured head, the body colour was optional though, I thought it was dark brown! I suggested it tasted and had an aroma similar to that old fizzy drink called ’dandelion and burdock’, only Mat agreed. Anyway it had some dark fruitiness and a herbal/spiced feel to it and i liked the beer.

Bottle @ Rich’s 7k tasting. Pours dark brown with magnolia head. Spicy brett and dandelion and burdock in the aroma. Taste is perhaps overly spicy with cloves, dandelion and burdock, dried fruits, earthy herbs.
