Draft at the source. Pours hazy gold with no head. Tart fruit dominated by pineapple, dragon fruit, cactus, oak. Good.

Rating #8004, Beer #12 of 17 (8 beers on either side of #8000 plus the magic 8000th itself) Very clear golden and peach coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall, just off-white head at first that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of soured and tart fruit with soem of the light pineapple and prickly pear notes that has a lot of extra acidic qualities and some lighter sweetness noticeable, but not much malt at all here and no real yeast scents - this really is about tart and soured fruits. Light-bodied; Very soured and tart fruit flavours dominate in the flavour with some passionfruit (not on the bill, I don't believe), hibiscus and definitely some of the pineapple noticeable along with a large touch of lactobilly flavours that have a slight creamy quality, but more of the soured and tart funk, in a good way, without much malt or balance here - this is about the soured notes that go down very easily. Aftertaste shows the very soured and tart fruits at first with a light acidic and citric acid note along with some light malts and a bit of dryness, but very easy-drinking throughout. Overall, a very nice and fruity beer with a ton of the soured fruit flavours dominating along with a dash of the sour candy and light wheat notes towards the end with a touch of the yeast coming through the edges. A very nice beer and almost perfect for those who like sours, but are dealt with summer heat! This was the twelvth beer of my 8000th celebration, the fourth on the 'other side' of 8000, but a great option for the summertime, especially for those who really enjoy soured beers. I sampled this 75 cL bottle, purchased from Total Wine in Towson, Maryland on 27-May-2019 on 27-May-2019 for US$12,59 sampled at my house here in Washington on 30-April-2020, as Beer #12 of the 8000th Beer Celebration!

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Clear golden, small short lasting white head. Citric, some tropical fruit, pineapple, quite sour. Puckering. Juicy. Medium bodied.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Golden coloured, minimal white head, mild pineapple and tropical fruits in the nose. Acidic fruity and pineapple taste with notes of ripe tropical fruits and dry finish. Nothing more nothing less than ok.

Tap at Craft Room. Lovely amber body, just ever so slightly hazy, no head. Lacto, oily aroma, light olive notes... eh? Lean taste, dry, salty, maybe some dragonfruit, lemony touches, dry and very much sour. Not a fan, but it's fine.

On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina Zagreb. Shared with Marko. Clear golden, small off-white head. Moderate acidity, ripe fruit, white grapes, pineapple juice. Nice sourness. Light fruity finish. Not very sour. Moderate carbonation.

750 ml bottle. Murky looking golden-orange color, with a fizzy white head. Fruity and rather tart. Pineapple and tropical fruit really come through with some vinous notes as well. Tingly, puckering finish.

750 ml bottle, bottled 06/20/18. Shared by Werckmeister, thanks! Amber, medium hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of pineapple mainly, some citrus, some straw. Tastes similar, with even more pineapple, some pear. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes medium sweet, a bit acidic, with lingering pineapple, some citrus, some straw. Nice one. A bit simple, with the pineapple dominating, while fresh to drink. Not among my favourite ones by The Bruery, but enjoyable. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 3 / 14

Bottled 06/20/2018. amber hazy color, small white head. smells sweathy, musty, some sweet fruits notes, honey. decent smell. light body, soft carbonation. tastes of passion fruit, pineapple, pineapple juice, grassy, earthy, spices, peppery. finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of pineapples, passion fruit and earthy notes. good stuff, lovely pineapple taste, smell was subtle and not that great, overall good one. nice fruit notes.
