500mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with an amber tinge and a small beige head. Aroma is complex, with notes of cherries, funky notes, light tartness, and miscellaneous dark fruits. Flavour is tart and dry, with red notes, medium brett funk, and light acidity. Quite vinous, with loads of red wine and moderate brett on the finish. Elegant stuff. Finishes rather acidic.

Dark brown color, almost black; small head. Woody and sour aroma, dark malts. Highly carbonated, good dark malts flavor, fruity sourness, balsamic vinegar, very woody and fairly tannic; moderate alcohol perception.
Very good.

Bottle - Sour cherry and dark malts with some oak notes. Deep mahogany with a decent brown head. Rich malty and sour tart cherry. Simple, but underlying complexity and nice to drink

Bottle shared in London during the CBC 2nd birthday. Thanks, Paige! Pours cloudy red-brown with an off-white froth cap. Leathery fruits in the nose, moderate funky accents. Medium sweet flavor with good tangy fruits, further leather, touches of earth. Lightly acidic with tangy fruits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Tangy finish, some sour berries, chewy leather. Lovely beer.

Acquired in a trade. Thanks Tooch! No idea why mine is totally covered in red wax but whatever.

A - Pours a reddish amber brown out of the bottle. almost pitch black in the glass. Mild carbonation forms and resides.

S - Nose is pretty interesting. Obviously sour fruits dominate. Lots of oak. Biscuit and cinnamon notes and vanilla bean. Acidity that levels on fresh espresso.

T - The whiskey comes through very strong in taste. This is quite nice! It’s sweet, dry and cloying all at once. Lovely tart blackberry / cherry mix. The whiskey is solid leaving behind wood, vanilla and cereal. The fruit & whiskey is blended in no way I’ve ever had before. Really solid beer.

M - Silky smooth with coffee & berry acidity throughout. Slick almost and not overpowering.

O - Low ratings so far makes me think this one isn’t a large bottling run but I’m glad to have tried it.

Bottle shared at tasting at my house. Pours very dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of desert wine, oak, dusty cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, red wine, roasted cherries and lightly funky citrus hops. Whiskey barrel is minimal, which is good and adds some complexity to the brew. Very well crafted. Medium body. Dryish finish.
