12.7 oz bottle rated up the river on paper yesterday. Aroma is garden fresh cucumbers, garden sugar snap peas, lemon. Pours hazy golden with a one finger off-white head with decent retention. Taste is light to moderately tart (6/10) with garden fresh flavors. Yummy and interesting.

Fairly hazy golden, peach and lightly coppered glow all with a thick, and very luscious four centimetre tall pure white head that stays afloat for a long time - very nice looking throughout. Aroma of fresh, yes, cucumbers, with a lot of light malts, a touch of alcohol, some coriander seed, and somehow - way more cucumbers - kind of impressive, given that it's beer with yeast that's been put away for a while, but the cucumbers are invasive! Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive cucumber flavours at first which show a crisp, cool flavour with some light coriander seed and wheat flavours and a touch of grain near the end, all with a dry and almost herbal finish, with no sweetness, no real body and not much depth - just a dry, very cucumber-y beer with a load of dryness and a bit of a touch of grainy malt near the end with some hay as well. Overall, quite funky and very cucumber-y which is very refreshing on hot days here in Washington, or anywhere North of here, especially in the summertime. Good to sample, and while I'm not sure if the additional time did this beer better, it was still nice to sample in the midst of THIS summer. I sampled this 37,5 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 11-June-2017 for US$9,99 sampled at home in Washington a bit more than a year later on 03-July-2018.

Poured from a 750 ml, 2013 vintage bottle. Aroma is a bit dulled with some honey and caramel notes. Some moderate cucumber with light citrus notes. Hints of stone fruit and cherry pie. Some light grassy and herbal phenolic notes. Look out, this one is a gusher! Pours a hazy, copper-orange with a large, moderately thick, white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Light lacing and no legs. Flavor is very sweet with lots of honey and caramel. Some light citrus notes and acidity with medium light cucumber notes. Medium low bitterness. Some cherry pie and stone fruit notes as well as light herbal phenolics. Lingering honey sweetness with hints of lemon and cucumber. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this is not a good beer. It has a very sweet character to it and some honey notes. it may have been refreshing and crisp when fresh, but I sat on this for way too long and its not good now.

Capped and waxed bottle. Clear and pale Colo with thick foamy head. Aroma is moderate cuke. Soft Belgian biscuit, lightly sweet. Flavir has only light cuke and mostly an average Americanized Belgian ale. I guess I was expecting funk but it has none. I rated this just bc I like cuke beers. This wasn’t in my top tier.

5 oz pour from the bottle at Seattle IBF. Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a short fizz head. Floral aroma with melon. Flavor closely matches with the expected cucumber splash which actually goes really nicely here. Overall nicely done. You know what’s annoying? When people call cucumbers, cukes. You know who you are.
