33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Biernavigatie.nl. Black with a very small tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, all the familiar stout characteristics are very present. Taste is semi-sweet and mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Finish is very smooth and not very bitter but that could be because this was a bit old bottle (bottledate july 2013) so it got time to mellow. Very nice imperial stout.

Bottle. Black with small beige head. Roasted malts, coffee, dry cocoa, black currant. Marzipan and sour cherries, deep rye with strong aniseed and licorice. Light tart taste with a nice underlying sweetness and roasted bitter finish. Medium to full bodied and slick feel. Very nice stout. Good imperial stout.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, from Kihiosk, Copenhagen. ABV is 9.6%. Black colour, huge and lasting tan head. Moderate malty and roasty aroma, notes of caramel, chocolate, oats and mild coffee. The flavour has notes of molasses, oak, caramel and roasted malts, also chocolate and coffee. Quite good.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours cloudy black with small creamy light brown head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffe, caramel, dark fruits and spicy hops. Taste starts with touch of fruity acidity, which is quickly dominated by sweet and rich chocolate, roasted malt and licorice, mouthfeel is warming with moderate alcohol note, while finish is pleasant medium bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Despite high ABV, this is incredibly drinkable brew...

Pours an extra deep black color (motor oil) topped with a small brown colored head. Very creamy. Decently strong roasty aroma, some coffee and chocolate as well. The taste is pleasantly roasty with not so strong bitterness. Some chocolate also here and some coffee as well. Very nice.
