From bottle. Blonde. Oak and lemon in the aroma. Moderately sour flavor with citrus and hints of oak. Long finish. Nice and easy going geuze. Na drie jaar opnieuw geproefd. Mooi gerijpte, strak zure geuze. Doet een beetje ouderwets aan, zo’n lekkere zure uit de jaren 80 en 90. De nodige complexiteit, proef nog steeds wat eigen. Citroentje. Genietbier.

2014 bottle pours a hazy gold with some creamy, white head. Nose is spot on, funky, oniony, medicine cabinet, a bit horsey, straw, lemon. Flavor is a bit softer, maybe safer, straw, lemon, band aid, a little pepper, herbs. Soft on the palate.

Bottle shared at the Cad’s 10th Anniversary Tasting - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Scoopey for this lambic scoop. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy head. Great nose, all juicy and grassy, with light dankety dank and musty must. Lightly sweet flavor, moderately acidic, with pleasant lemon tartness, bitter grass, some hay. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Super clean to finish, fairly dry, with more lemon, some rind, overall citric acidity. Excellent beer on the whole.
