Bottle. Next to jet black, with a small, dense, tan head on top. Caramel, coffee, dark chocolate and a faint boozy touch in the aroma. Loads of coffee actually. It’s full-bodied, warming and smooth on the palate, with lots of coffee flavor, some boozyness, dark chocolate, licorice, and even more coffee. Vanilla notes. Everlasting coffee finish with a lovely boozy touch. I might say that it’s sort of one dimensional, but I don’t care, it’s just lovely. 150724

Bottle from my Summer Santa 2015, many thanks Plovamand!

Bottle, thanks to Daniel, split at LKS Moon Dome, 21/04/15. Black with a dirty tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is rich roast, decadent chocolate vibes, toffee fudge, light coffee strains, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises booze tunes, hint of vanilla, toffee fudge, muscavado sugars, orange peel, chococlate, cointreau. Full bodied, oily feel, light spice and bitter fruit balance the sweet licks. Xolid impy.

330mL bottle, courtesy of haukur (thanks a lot man), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out caramel, liqueur, cocoa and alcohol. Flavour is complex, with notes of whiskey barrels, light caramel, dark fruits and coffee. Decadent, elegant and rich. Everything is balanced wonderfully. An awesome version of an awesome base beer.
