pretty weak ass triple. Some orange and grains of paradise, but clearly a beer on training wheels. A good stepping stone triple.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Golden color, clear; creamy head. Aroma of malt, sweetish, with a light fruity note. Good body, with pleasant, sweetish malt flavor; there is a light fruity touch, a pleasant note of cereals, and a quite bold bitterness.
Another American Abbey Ale, with very little Belgium in it, but at least better than the average.

Sampled on tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy / clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma of apples / pears, sweet candied sugar, cotton candy and slight yeast notes. Flavour is more of a North American-style tripel - sweeter, more apple-y and candy-like - with the aforementioned qualities. Finishes quite sweet. Decent, but too sweet.

Hazy amber - doesnt really look like a classic tripel. Slightly sweet and slightly floral aroma. Sweet, floral character that is almost sticky before the alcohol takes over.
