Bottle split at CBC Clerko from an IP trade with MJ, 06/01/15. Looks like a mango smoothie, kind of artificial orange hues with little in the way of a head. Nose is bitter orange, herbal strokes, light menthol, papaya, spice. Taste comprises tarte fruit, mango, bitter orange, spice, straw, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light acidic vibes in the close. Solid enough saison but lower down the running order on the De Garde beers I’ve had.

Tasting at Craft Clerkenwell. Thanks to Colin for this one. Hazy gold - orange beer, residual white head. Palate is light and semi dry and finely crisp. Light sourness with nice zippy orange and a little lemon. Pinch of sherbet. Trace of gin adds colour. Light crisp finish. Pretty drinkable.

Flavour is nice big orange, fresh, tart apricot peach Melba, wheaty doughy grains. Really big orange mango fruit character.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours murky gold with minimal head. The nose holds lots of tart citrus, tangerine, herbs. Light sweet flavor with some rindy bitterness, tart lemons, moderate acidity, citric bite. Light bodied with spritz you carbonation. Clean and tart on the finish, some mandarin orange, tangerine, peel. Very nice.

Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours murky orange with quickly dissipating head. The nose is musty, barnyard, earth, bitter-orange, must, touch of grapefruit rind, vanilla and light pepper notes. The taste is bitter-orange, sour, orange juice, grapefruit juice from concentrate, mild acidity, drying wood, light vanilla and some mouth-pucker with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting stuff, but not my favourite from these guys.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a dark orange with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong citrus, floral hop, oak, gin. Medium mouthfeel with nice tart citrus, light booze, so juicy and easy to drink, very impressive.
