Forged from the finest Maris Otter malt and a special blend of American hops. The nose is of fresh citrus and berry fruits with a smooth juicy malt character and deceptively moreish finish that belies its strength.

Bottle, courtesy of KnutAlbert. A clear, golden beer with a minimal off-white head. Malty and fruity aroma with a nice resiny hoppyness. Some lemon and a tiny touch of alcohol. Full-bodied on the palate, with bready notes, pine-cones, resin, some malty sweetness, a little alcohol and a fine bitterness. Mostly bitter on the finish. A quite nice one, I guess the ABV helps it out of the shadow. Easy to drink, and quite flavorful. (081215)

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with orange, dried apricots, biscuity malt, floral hops and strange hints of broth. Fruity taste with notes of orange peel, mandarin and a delicate citrussy/earthy bitterness in the finish. Solid malt foundation to balance the hops. Well constructed, nice and refreshing.

Slightly hazy orange color, good creamy white head. Hay, straw, yeast, pomerance and some exotic fruits in the nose. Tropical fruits (lychee, star fruit), lemon, sourness, aromatic hops in the flavor. Pale malty. Quite exotic Brit, although not totally enjoyable. Nice hoppy aftertaste.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. BB date Oct. 08. ABV is 5.2%. When opening, the beer started gushing out of the bottle. Deep golden to amber colour, slightly hazy, big white head. Nice hoppy aroma, citrus and floral notes, a hint of toffee. The flavour is distinctly hoppy and grapefruity throughout, but never too bitter. The hoppy fruitiness also has a sufficient malty base, and my bottle had a hint of brettanomyces. Long aftertaste of hoppy bitterness. Good stuff!

Bottle. Pale gold with a decent white head. Intense aroma of grapefruit, pine, grass and buttery malt. Flavour had some sweet malt, spice and a very hoppy finish, with citrus more pine and a slightly earthy finish. Excellent.
