My 820th top 50 beer rating. 750ml corked and crowned bottle. Clear amber orange pour. Pillowy beige head. Earthy, yeasty malt aroma hints at cooked apples. Zesty malt flavor upfront. Notes of stewed fruits, caramel, mild spice and sherry. Lots of clinging lace right until the last sip.

On tap at Man in the Moon. Dark golden/amber with a small head. Sweetis with dried fruit, mild banana, some honey and caramel.

0.33 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', best before August 2026. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-floral aroma of banana, clove, pear and some honey. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, nutmeg, some pear and light honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth but fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Very much like a Hefeweizen, not bad at all, just somehow not what I would have expected from a Belgian Christmas beer.

Pours hazy deep gold into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes to mottle surface. Spice and caramel aromas. Crisp with sweet caramel and clove front to back. Dry, earthy bark finish.

In der wunderschönen 0,75er Flasche. Optisch trübes Gold, in der Nase würzig, Rosinen, Apfel. Im Trunk kräftig, alkoholisch, Getreide, Hefe, würzig, recht intensiv. Kommt heftiger daher als die Nase vermuten lässt.

Trübe goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, würziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht hefig, würzig, leicht fruchtig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Sampled at Max's Belgian Fest 2024. Pours a hazy gold with some white head. Nose has candy and clove, pineapple and bubblegum. Don't get much winter. Flavor has clove and banana, candy. Sweet finish.

En tulipa, color dorado cobrizo, turbia, espuma blanca bien conservada. En nariz exquisita levadura belga, cereal, pan blanco, bizcocho, banana, piel de naranja y muchas especias... En boca se presenta desde el primer sorbo bajo un inequívoco perfil belga, rica levadura y matices dulces y ligeramente amargos, fruta de hueso, pan, azúcar moreno, algún destello cítrico, plátano, orejones, clavo, pimienta, coriandro, cardamomo...Para mi una delicia de cerveza
