Clear amber with little white head. Aroma is clean grapes pips, berries, chalk. Taste is very dry. Some plastic cherry. Alcoholic. Watery. Somehow very ugly. Almost undrinkable.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a low head retention. Aroma is chalk, barnyard, funk, slightly burned, leather, some Bock. Body is medium, quite tart and sour, really funky. Short dry palate. Good, but odd.

Bottle thanks to Grant. Pours a clear orange gold with medium white frothy head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, oak, apple skin, rubber. Medium body, funky, rubber, wood, light tartness, very good.

375mL 2007 bouteille a Akkurat, 11/28/16.
Clear, bright, light-golden, which is always a relief to see in older lambics, signifying little/no oxidation. White head atop recedes quickly to cover.
Horseblanket shows forth nicely, with minimal green apple for a Boon lambic. Light honey and soft lactic character join with the brett to give a very strong nose, free from any saccharine or oxidation or brewing flaw. No alcohol, seemingly well-attenuated.
In the mouth it’s full of bright brett, earthy, musty elements to counterbalance with soft hay, red apple, very light lactic acidity and substantial, but well-attenuated maltiness. Fruitier and fruitier as it warms and breathes with light acetic character emerging and a piquant sourness lingering fairly pleasantly, on the finish. Low but tight carbonation.
