Bottle. Sour, musty vinegar aroma. Yellow amber color with thin head. Initially slightly sweet then a musty vinegar malt flavor. Okay - not quite traditional but not overly sweet.

Bottle at ÅBF08 as Timmermanns Gueuze. Citric aroma. Seemingly clear golden colour. Very small white head. Citric flavour. Slightly sweet and teaish, with a quite dry finish. Almost like aspartam aftertaste.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of grass, yeast, sour grapes, vinegar and sugar - very nice! Light-bodied; Nice sour pungent grapiness along with some yeast and hay come out. Aftertaste shows much more sweetness, with the sour flavours definitely coming out. Overall, a very nice beer - perfect for celebrating the Red Wings Stanley Cup Victory on 04-June-2008!!! I sampled this 25 cL bottle purchased from Bier Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium in celebration for Detroit!!!

Tap at "qui va la promener Le chien" in Sablon, Brussels. Nice little restauant with a good terrace. Hazy amber color. Frothy creamy beige head with lacing that looked like lace. Mild sour aroma over tart light stone fruit. Medium body with fine carbonation. Flavor is very milld sour, over peach light stone fruit with definite spice - sort of clove. Finishes fairly dry. Really refreshing on a hot, humid, sunny day.

Århus2008. 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma is light citric with a mild acidic touch. Flavour is sweet and citric with a light acidic finish. Medium dry. Not the worst Timmermans yet not a good gueuze in my book.

Clear golden with no head. Sweet fruity with woody and mild barnyard notes. Ends with discrete sourness. Do not sweeten my lambic...

Bottle. Clear golden yellow. No head. Sour, almost vinegary, aroma. Tart, green apples and lemon taste. Great mouthfeel, almost oily with fizzy carbonation. It’s too sour for my taste and not complex enough. However it is certainly drinkable.
