75cl Bottle from The Cracked Kettle, 5,2% ABV. Dark brown colour, off white disappearing head. Nice aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee, and a hint of sourness. Flavour is roasted malts, a watery sourness, a hint of chocolate. Finish is roasted and sour. Don’t like sour flavours, and this one has too much of it.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear, golden and dark brown with a fully gone head. Mild spiced and light yeasty with a nice roasted malt aroma, mild acidic/citric note too. Light spiced, mild liqourice and a nice roasted malt flavour. Again with a more flavourful malt base than just roasted. Smooth and malty finish with a mild spice flavour.

Bottled, alc. 5.2 % (BB 03/2010)
Dark ruby color, small creamy tan head. Sourish roasted coffeish nose. Decent carbonation. Light roastyness, coffee and light licorice. Nice malt profile, oily mouthfeel, roasted aftertaste. There is also some sourness, seems that also Seppo and Patrik had it in their bottles, so it seems to be in all bottles of this batch ... a beer to try again.
