Draught @ Arts & Crafts Beer Parlor - Amsterdam Ave, Manhattan (5/24/23). Opaque dark brown with a foamy tan head, faint mocha aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter mocha taste with alcohol undertones, dark chocolate, smooth body, long mocha finish with alcohol aftertaste. The alcohol escapes a bit, making it boozy but still a good brew.
No maple to speak of, but the bourbon is strong. 2-4 inches of snow in tomorrow’s forecast. Two morons on the Telly tonight.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 22/04/21. Black with a decent tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is sweet malts, maple syrup, boozey tunes, dark chocolate, marzipan, a little harsh in places, dried fruits. Taste comprises mellow alcohol, dried fruits, chocolate, light spice, wooded notes, light bourbon nip, toffee, less maple syrup than the nose suggested. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Ok impy stout if a little stuck twixt third and fourth gears ... a touch raw in places.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. An oily black brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is some hot alcohol, solvent , brown sugars, earthy roast, tequila, marker pen. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, maple, sticky brown sugars, spicy burnt cinnamon bun, warming alcohol. spicy hot alcohol, teqiuila barrel vibes. Palate is medium sweet, full bodied, alcohol, lowish carbonation. Bit too harsh and boozy for me.
