We bring you Night Rider. Dark as can be, smooth as you like, with wonderful chocolate after tastes.

Can from Craft & Berry. Appearance - dark purple shade of black with an olive sheen. Tan head. Nose - treacle, mile chocolate. Treacle sponge, in fact. Taste - treacle into molasses. Light smoke. Palate - medium bodied at least. Roasty finish. Overall - good.

Cask at the Victoria Inn, Rugby - 19/09/12. Dark mahogony brown with a thin off-white head. Biscuit malt nose, nutty tones, toffee and a little coffee. Tastes of biscuit, toffee, toasted malt and chocolate. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a dry finish.

Cask at the Black Country Arms, Walsall. Clear brown pour with an off white head. Dark fruit and raisins in the aroma. Same in flavor with a bitter finish.

Cask handpump at the Black Country Arms, Walsall. Thick creamy white head. Clear deep amber pour. Pretty decent stout

14th April 2010. Clear dark brown beer. Gentle dark malt and faint chocolate on the nose. Light palate - a little dry. Darl malt with traces of molassess and licorice. Nicely balanced by an underlying fruitiness - sublte cherry and plum. Finishes dry. Nice enough.

Cask @ Counting House, JDW. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, alcohol?, some fruits. Very smooth, ok drinkable.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Chestnut with a thin tan head; aroma of chocolate malt; rich roasted malt flavour with a hint of chocolate and a sweet fruity finish.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Deep dark brown with a fading thin tan head. . Roasted malt and chalk dust aroma. Flavour had dark chocolate and fruity notes. Some hop presence evident too. Lively carbonation. Forgettable on the whole.
