3 Fonteinen Framboos is the result of macerating hand-picked whole
raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion
of one kilogram of fruit per litre of lambic. The raspberry lambic is then
blended again with more young lambic to obtain a minimum intensity
of 35% fruit, and is bottled immediately afterwards. These bottles
are then stored in our cellars for at least five months so
that the raspberry lambic can develop into a beautiful, traditional,
and re ned Framboos. With a abundant forest fruit nose
as it warms in the glass, 3 Fonteinen Framboos will age perfectly
but may lose some of the vibrant colours and forest fruit aromas.
This un ltered and unpasteurised lambic is all-natural with no arti cial
juices, syrups, or sugars added. Traditional Lambic is living, cultural
heritage rooted in the Zenne valley!

Bottle, huge thanks SinH4 - oogst 2017, blend 70, bottled 2018. Reddish-amber body, lightly hazy, off-white head. Big aroma, huge raspberries still with a bunch of funk. Lean, dry, freeesh taste, pleasant raspberries, minerally, well integrated funk, sour but not excessively - very well balanced, not vinegary at all, tiny paint in a good way somehow - likely from the raspberries somehow. Excellent stuff!

375ml bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish pink gold with a full finger of off white foam that lingers. Horseblanket, mineral funk and raspberry skin on the nose. More of the same on the palate, dry raspberry skin, some wild strawberry notes with bitter raspberry seed and an almost tannic like quality that lingers. Drying finish with active, scratchy carbonation that leaves raspberry skin, flesh and seed on the palate.

Bottle at home in 32 degree heat, 17th June 22. Pours a pretty peachy pink. Aroma is funky, berries, raspberries, farmyard. Taste is tart, loads of berries, funky and sour, sharp berries, raspberry, redcurrants, a long tart and very berry finish. Great

Bottle shared at beer merchants tap. A clear Ruby red coloured pour with a fine pink head. Aroma is lovely intense, tart raspberry, strawberry, mellow funk twist of citric, horsey,. Flavour is composed of tart prickly berries raspberries, woody pips, light funk, horsey. Palate is tart, prickly, highish carbonation. Vibrant fruit character.
