3 Fonteinen Framboos is the result of macerating hand-picked whole
raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion
of one kilogram of fruit per litre of lambic. The raspberry lambic is then
blended again with more young lambic to obtain a minimum intensity
of 35% fruit, and is bottled immediately afterwards. These bottles
are then stored in our cellars for at least five months so
that the raspberry lambic can develop into a beautiful, traditional,
and re ned Framboos. With a abundant forest fruit nose
as it warms in the glass, 3 Fonteinen Framboos will age perfectly
but may lose some of the vibrant colours and forest fruit aromas.
This un ltered and unpasteurised lambic is all-natural with no arti cial
juices, syrups, or sugars added. Traditional Lambic is living, cultural
heritage rooted in the Zenne valley!

Leicht eingetrübte rötliche Farbe. Fruchtig säuerlicher Geruch. Geschmacklich fruchtig mit Himbeere und Erdbeere, säuerlich, sehr harmonisch abgestimmt. Mittlere bis hohe Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit und hoher Säuerlichkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

(Bottle, oogst 2017 blend #16 season 17/18, 5.3%) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of raspberries, strawberries, barnyard, hay and red fruit. Fruity, tart taste with raspberries, red fruit, barnyard, hay, strawberries and a dry and tart finish. Medium body, dry. Fresh and tasty, with a refreshing acidity and a good berry character. Very nice.

Aus der Flasche (Blend No.11 Saison 2019/20 / bottled 12 12.2019 / bbe 26.10.2039) im 2022-12 getrunken. Dieses hellrote Lambic zeigt seine Stärke in dem wunderbaren Himbeer-Aroma und sehr gut balancierten Säure. Sehr harminsch alles und keine Bitterkeit durch Himbeerkerne. Ein tolles Bier!

Bottle. Brownish red, bit cloudy. Smell is raspberry and ketchup and crisp. Lovely balanced, starts small with tart, and runs through smooth and layed back, until it ends on beautifully fruity tart. Bit too sweet. Like it though.

2017 harvest. Reddish amber. Aroma is raspberry balsamico faint horse blanket also lots of lemon. Very complex. Taste is quite dry with lots of fresh fruit and lively lime sourness. Fizzy and some wood flavours in the finish. Good.

Bottle at Christmas tasting; 2017 fruit. Lightly reddish-brown in the glass, light ruby. Amazing sour raspberry nose, very strong aroma. Quite heavy sour but not rubbery like a lot of sours tend to be, bit of umami, really nice! Big, deep complexity that I really enjoy.
