On tap at Angry Chair, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with roasted hazelnuts, followed by light coconut and lactose. Flavour is dominated by the hazelnuts upfront, accentuated by intense coconut, and dark sugars. Sweet but far from cloying. Wonderful incorporation of the hazelnut and coconut. This brewery nails the hazelnuts. Awesome stuff.

Roast and caramel. Hazelnut, coffee. Black pour with some mocha. Pretty sweet, some bitterness. A hint of smoke. Some oiliness in texture.

Pint can shared at Benny’s place. Poured almost black in colour with a thin round tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, hazelnut, vanilla coconut. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, chocolate, hazelnut, coconut, vanilla, lactose, light liqourice bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Bottle Pours inky black with a small tan head and decent lacing. Aroma is rich and fudge, espresso, toasted coconut. Flavor is pretty darn sweet, dessert, but good. Diabetes bottle for sure, but a good one. Full body.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Junction. Pours black-brown with a creamy tan cap. Big sweet flavour, rich malt character, some toasted nuts, gooey dark sugars, vanilla. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Sticky finish, lightly warming, peanuts, chocolate, bruised banana. Fun novelty beer.

Not the L6 bottleshare. Thanks to the opposite table! Smooth dark malts, rich and with rich chocolate. Massive hazelnuts. Mild vanilla. Smooth finish. Highly entertaining.
