330 ml bottle, as Slaapmutske Bruin, soon available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Fairly strong sweetish aroma with notes of caramel malts and over-ripe (and even decaying) berries and fruits. The flavour is better than the aroma, malty and lightly spicy with caramel, but not too sweet. Moderate hops in the finish (30 IBU). Not quite as good as Slaapmutske Christmas, but nice enough.

Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu as "Slaapmutske Dark"
A bit worty aroma with ripe fruits, malt and gingerbread dough. Flavour is rather malty with sugar, syrupy notes, some dark fruits and hints of spices. Finishes with mild metallic notes. Also some elements from dunkler doppelbocks. Interesting and good.

I know the taste adn smell and can’t pin it down...nuts, toffee, caramel, apricots, figs, raisins, swwet and soothing. Lots of sediment make this a cloudy orange copper color with sticky thick foam. This is truly delicious. Note: my bottle is not labeled as "Winterbier" , just "Bruin"

Bottle from the Craft Beer Co. Drank at home. Cloudy brown pour with a beige head. Toffee, caramel aroma with a little coconut in there too. Toffee, coconut and candied fruit action in the flavour. Sweet, smooth finish. Interesting.

Hazy amber-brown body with an off-white rocky head. Ok lace. Strong malty flavour of alcohol, liquor. Moderately sweet, moderately bitter flavour. Strong mouthfeel for a beer of 6 in ABV.
