Did we choose the name Elephant to honour the statues that guard our brewery gates, or because it's a beer you'll remember forever? Pale gold in colour, Elephant is rich in malty character, with a hint of caramel, balanced by a satisfyingly dry bitterness. Once enjoyed, never forgotten!

Noticeable alcohol. Sweet with lots of adjuncts. Pale golden color. A mainstream strong lager. Nothing special

Bottle from Uli and Ottmar. Gold with a foamy white head that soon exits. Malty aroma of grains and honey. Taste is sweet up front, dry and very mildly bitter at the end with a noticeable backbite of raw alcohol. Body is medium, carbonation is understated but consistent. Overall, quite rough though due to the poorly hidden ABV.

Sampled from 0.5 l can from 'EDEKA Preller' (Breckerfeld), best before July 2019. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some straw and hints of honey. Fairly sweet, malty, a bit sugary and a little grassy-spicy taste of grains, sugar, some honey and a touch of straw, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, moderately boozy and a bit grassy-spicy finish with notes of iron. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very pleasant, cheap boozy Lager.

Nothing wrong with the beer, it tastes a lot like an american lager, but it has a bit more flavour from the alcohol warmth. Easy drinking beer to get a bit drunk on. REWE Dresden

Bottle. Clear dark gold, almost amber with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts and grains. Taste is grains, malts, honey, metal and alcohol. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. It's not horrible but not exactly enjoyable either.
