Did we choose the name Elephant to honour the statues that guard our brewery gates, or because it's a beer you'll remember forever? Pale gold in colour, Elephant is rich in malty character, with a hint of caramel, balanced by a satisfyingly dry bitterness. Once enjoyed, never forgotten!

From old tasting notes. Deep gold color. Rocky white head. Light fruity tart aroma with a metallic background. Big flavorful sweet malt palate has noticeable hops. Heavy mouthfeel and noticeable alcohol prescence. Bittersweet finish and aftertaste.

Bottle, cold. Haven’t had this since the 80s. Orange gold with a white head. aroma of honey, biscuit, light spices. Fairly light bodied - it’s only the lick of booze that gives away its strength. Pretty smooth and bland - and that is an achievement of sorts: there’s none of the rogue fruity or solvent notes you often get with strong lagers. Modest grassy and spicy bitter finish. Well made but a bit pointless.

F: almost no, white, very quick gone. C: clear, gold. A: malty, grassy, some sugar/honey sweetness. T: 0,33l bottle, malty, grassy hoppy, hint of caramel sweetness, medium body, average carbo, as for commercial beer not bad, but… you know.

330ml bottle. Golden amber colour, with a small quickly fading white head. Pleasant aroma of sweet malt. Flavour is also malty with a nice sweetness to it. A little syrupy but not in a bad way. Despite the ABV it didn’t taste that strong, also not much bitterness. Nicer than Carlsberg’s other offerings.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Nose has rubber tyre, old ashtrays, burnt sugar. Hazy amber beer with thin solid white head. High carbonation, very fine bubbles. Oily texture. Mineral water taste, a little zingy. Finish is smooth caramel sauce, alcohol and a little touch of hop bitterness. Keeps reminding me of an open sewer! Surely you only drink this quickly to get hammered.
