Sample from special bottle, courtesy of #Kermis, in front of ’Bierkoning’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016, Thanks !pours hazy caramel-brown with an off-white head. Aroma of a typical Lambic, lots of sour/acidic notes, wood, verly light stout aromas like the maltiness, the Lambic has totally taken over the smell. Taste of caramel, some sweet, grain, quite a lot of Lambic sourness, wood, tart, medium body, the stout is almost gone, soft carbo, tart finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Stout Lambik on 24 May 2018 at 15:08 - Score: 7

Thanks to Kermis for this apparently massive rarity. 750 ml. bottle sampled @ outside De Bierkoning during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016! Darker wooden brown, solid but small tanned head. Nose is weird moldy rotting cellar, oxidation, massive rotting wet leaves. Thin fizzy nasty rotting wet leaves, herbal, grainy, thinned out, wet garage & cellar,… Thin, roast, very thinned out, grainy. This one seems to have evolved in a very odd, I appreciate getting to try this one but it has acquired far too many unpleasant notes for me.

Sampled from bottle in front of ’De Bierkoning’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016, courtesy of kermis, thanks a lot! Hazy, brownish amber with an off-white head. Sourish, slightly roasty aroma of coffee, chocolate, some funk and a touch of lemon. Sourish, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, caramel and some vinegar, followed by a medium long, rather tart finish. Thin to medium body, quite astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle, in front of the Bierkoning at Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016, with Bierkoning, Travlr, Zlotta, Kermis, Maakun, TheJvd, ShivanDragon and more. Thanks Kermis for sharing. Hazy dark brown color. No head. Aroma’s: dusty, wood, light chocolate, light roast. Flavor is moderate to full sour, woody. Medium bodied. Rather dry finish. Interesting, not much left of the stout.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis. Slight hazy brown with off white head. Funky lambic smell up front. Bitter leaves, oxidized wine, overripe red fruits, very old coffee, hay, chestnuts. Under medium sour and some sweet oxidized notes. Medium bodied. Very oxidized but still quite good.

Säuerlicher, dunkel getreidiger Antrunk. Würzig und süffig, leicht herb. Zum Ende bitterer, auf der anderen Seite kommt das Stout deutlicher hervor. Gut! 9/11/11/12/12/12

Bottle sampled at Festival der Bierkulturen, Koln. Pours murky brown with no head. Aroma is barnyard funky with tart fruit, light chocolate and roast. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate acidic. Stout qualities lingering on the palate behind the lambic. Over medium bodied with flat carbonation.
