This is an awesome collaboration with Mikkeller and Hill Farmstead. It will mess with your mind as an IPA designed to mimic Limoncello. A slightly sour mash, combined with Lactose for sweetness, tonnes of lemon Zest and hopped to death with Sorachi Ace and Citra. Bottle, cask and keg. [Labeled as "Lemon Cello IPA" in the US Market.]

Bottle shared thanks to jmgreenuk. Pours like a golden Dalmatian. Weird black floaters all over. Aroma is funky, citrus. Flavor is light sweet and over moderate bitter. Massive citrus in the palate and certainly coming out like limoncello. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A weird experiment but not bad.

Absolutely dangerously good! I had this on tap among friends, gorgeous clarity, lots of nice bubbles and sticky lacing. Sort of a bright gold appearance. Nose is huge citrus with a wine like tannic nature. Not overtly bitter. Taste is awesome. Bright lemon finish but up front, you get this gorgeous mildly acidic bitterness with lots of juice and grapes. It’s a healthy mix of bitter, sweet, lemon acidity and I loved drinking it.

Sample at SBWF 2013. Hazy golden with a white head. Really a lot of lemon both in the aroma and taste. Also light funk, biscuits, lime and some malt. An interesting and refreshing beer.

Bottle at home, 28th September 13. Pours well, little head. Looks a fine drink. Aroma is acidic lemon and citrus. Taste is full on lemon pithe and juice, sorachi ace, actually comes though to mellow. Drinks bellow the ABV. Could be great as a refreshing sipper on a hot afternoon, as designed I suppose!

Tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Day 2, Session 2. Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a fine, white cream head. Dank lemon and orange citrus aroma, some rind. Medium sweet flavor with light bitter lemon peel, moderate tang, soft alcohol. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light sticky-sweet finish with juicy lemon and tangerine. Decent stuff. (3.6)
Update: I’ve since tried this beer on keg around London and have found it a lot more enjoyable. Bumping the score up to 3.8.
