Bottle shared thanks to Dennoman. Pours hazy dark golden with an off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, grass and caramel malt. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Keg at the Earl of Essex, 08/04/14. Very lightly hazed golden orange witha big old eggshell white head that retains well. Nose is candied fruit peel, grapefruit, dank hops, citric pithdom, bitter orange, pine. Taste comprises caramel malt, sweet pangs, mango, orange pith, grapefruit. Medium + body, soft carbonation, grassy hop bitter load at the curtain call. Solid enough DIPA, quite an easy drinker considering the ABV.

Bottle from Alesbymail. Hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - peach and grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 030414

Bottle from Dram Shop, Sheffield. Cloudy, dark orange. Minimal, white head. Aroma is big everything. Grapefruit, tropical fruit, caramel. Taste is bitter, with some burnt caramel, harsh sweetness. Lightly carbonated. Oily, almost greasy palate. Big, grapefruit dry bitterness.

Bottle. Amber colour with a white head, medium lasting and nice lacework. aroma is hoppy, resins and pine notes, orange and grapefruit. Flavor is quite similar as aroma. Notes of tangerine and orange peel are present with good maltiness. The final is strong bittery with long duration.

Pours clear orange with a smooth head. Aroma of berries, fruity hops and caramely malts with notes of yeast and alcohol. Taste is malty, boozy and fruity with notes of berries and caramel. Finish is sticky, malty and boozy with notes of fruits and berries. Okay, quite boozy DIPA.

Aroma is fruity with hops and some harsh notes of bush leaves. Also hints of caramel and biscuits. Flavour is bitter in a harsh way with bush leaves, some hops, yeasty notes, caramel and mint. Strong herbal notes at the end of the glass. Just too messy and too much harsh bitterness, also feels quite light for this ABV.
