0.5 l bottle from 'Brauart', best before April 2026. Clear, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and a little herbal-spicy aroma of orange jam, strawberry, toffee and a touch of gingerbread. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity and a little herbal-spicy taste of orange jam, strawberry, plum, cinnamon, gingerbread, some toffee and traces of chocolate, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally dry finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Christmas ale, moreish and saturating, very well-balanced.

As I can't seem to upload my previous ratings from another site I'm starting again and rating everything.
Good pour but perhaps a bit cold from being stored in my garage. I love this beer, hops, malt, spice and rich fruit. A proper English strong ale.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours a wonderful deep red, with fine whitish foam. Aroma is intensely malty, caramel. Body is average, with limited carbonation. Taste is medium-high sweet, but not too redundant in the final, which remains average in intensity.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a deep copper colour with a large thick foamy beige head. Aromas of caramel, dark fruits and Christmas spice. Taste has toffee, caramel and more Christmas spices. Slightly sweet finish. Full body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice and Christmasy beer. I think i slightly prefer their Winter Ale though.
