The pale ale will be made according to the exacting standards of the Bavarian Purity Act of 1516, just like the pilsner. In terms of the style of the beer, our pale ale is still easy to drink and crisp, but more hop forward than our pilsner. We will remain true to our standards of brewing a pure ale with no additives, preservatives or artificial foam enhancers.

Can from the lcbo. Clear copper pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is fresh pine, resinous hops, and satisfying cereals. Great mouth feel, great carb. Finish is medium bitter, crisp and clean and very refreshing. Fantastic yet basic. Simple, crisp, clean and very refreshing. A great session pale ale.. Nothing thta will blow your socks off, but it's well made and has just enough hops, and bitterness with solid cereals to keep you interested.

This pale ale poured a medium amber colour with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents of corn, lightly toasted biscuit and a little honey. First swig was not bad. Flavours of toast, a little caramel and medium hops. Finish is lightly bitter with toasty malts and light hops lingering.

Vibrant amber colour, with just a slight bit of chill haze to it. Thin head. Quite toasty on the nose - part of that is clearly some stalish c-hop stuff, but there's got to be a light crystal malt accent in there as well. Either way, very old fashioned. On the palate, similar. Crystal malt to the fore, fairly low bitterness, maybe 25 ish. The hop character ends up being dry, which is something a more English-style pale would deliver, but the yeast is really clean. This type of beer works better with an English yeast, or alternatively, with brighter, punchier hops. I feel like this is well-made, clean, and as an amber totally reasonable. As a pale, however, it needs something a bit more.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber with a medium, foamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Faint aroma of bready caramel malt, earth and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, toffee, orange rind, herbal tea and floral hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Easy to drink. An ok EPA.

Pours a clean amber colour with a golden hue. The frothy head is light-beige with average retention and some foamy patches. Mild hoppy nose with caramel malts undertone, all nicely balanced with grainy cereal notes. The taste shows that cereal malt with a little spiciness from the hops. The mouthfeel seems dry enough. Nothing too complex, and not a new school Pale Ale with lots of hops sticking out. Just an easy-drinking old school Pale Ale, with a tad more hop.
