Bottle at Modeste 2017. Pours dark brown, rather clear. Smell is bit sharp, tad herbal. Mild sweet. taste is tad bitter, aromatic. Sharp. OK. Tad boozy.

Thanks to Kraddel! Sampled bottled @ Modeste 2017. Amber. Nose is sweet weird herbal leaves, massively sweet sugary near cloying leaves. Taste is bit empty but oddly also very sweet at parts, treacle, sugar, leaves, soap, huge soap. Bit empty very thick sugar, soap, low treacle. Weird but somewhat pleasant even if oddly sticky (that makes it a bit more interesting) & touch empty.

Creamy beige head stayed well on a murky brown, finely effervescent body. Malt, pepper & berry aroma. Medium to full bodied. Smooth & creamy on the palate. Softly carbonated. Quite sweet with creamy chocolate, coffee hints, red berries, demerara sugar, plum & a bit of grape on the aft.

Bottle @ LIBF’16. Shared with the RB Belgian team.

16/V/16 - sample @ Leuven Innovation - BB: n/a (2016-573) Thanks to the Belgian RB crew for sharing today's beers!

Clear red beer, practically no head. Aroma: sweet, malty, honey, caramel, lots of dried fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, bit smoky, raisins, bitter hops. Aftertaste: some chocolate, sweet, malty, caramel, hoppy bitter finish. Very decent one!

Very good mango head, lively, through ditto carbonated amberish garnet beer, faintly veiled. Solvent, glue, rosehips, lavender, pineneedles, staraniseed - bit of a mess, yeasty-estery. Bitter, gouache, again some solvent. Wry effect, making it not the most easily drinking beer. Warming up, gets quite earthy. Well-bodied; quite slick going to chewy. Dry finish. If no spices were added, here, then the yeast is... peculiar.

Bierfestival Groningen, 9.04.2016. Clear red brown with a mighty beige head. Hop and malt on the nose. Taste starts with some barrel wood and malt, hints oh whisky. Smooth. Hidden alcohol. Later more toasted malt, sweetness in the second row. Nice one!

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 25.03.16. Muddy amber. Beige head. Earthy and unfresh aroma of caramel and overripe tropical fruits. Similar taste.
