2017 bottle drunk 5/5/23. Clear deep brass-bronze. Small, feeble, off-white head. Nose is apple juice, vanilla, stiff oak and strong, spicy bourbon notes. Some oxidation, not fully oxidized yet but definitely on its way. Lots of phenol, some booze, some plastic. More of the same, with big apple juice notes in the flavor. Plastic, vanilla, cedary wood and heavy bread and biscuit. If this was ever interesting and enjoyable, it's certainly passed that now. Mostly just raisin, apple juice, vanilla and stiff bourbon/oak.

Bottle at Black Christmas 2018, magnum, vintage 2012, 6 years old
Hazy blond colour. Delicious malt and vanilla and bourbon aroma. Rich and sweet malt flavour, mellow, with strong bourbon notes, a bit biscuity and buttery in the finish.
Wonderful.
