The first Unibroue in a can! Autre Chose Peach IPA 6% Opaque gold with a dense pillowy head, the aroma is peach fuzz and a sort of spicy character. Medium bodied with an earthy spicy almost saison like funk, wheat but not much peach. On second sip I get a touch more peach but there’s a real wheat/Weizen vibe to this. Hopped with Cascade, Galaxy, Citra and Lemondrop according to the label. OK.

Not your typical label from Unibroue, in a different 625ml bottle with even the U on the cap being a front not used by them before. Slight hazy, golden colour with an orange hue, a warm frothy cap, decent stay and some patchy foam lacing. Sweet, fruity nose of peaches with hints of honey, strawberries and hops. The taste is definitely less peachy. Mildly sweet and fruity at first, but the bitterness of the IPA side kicks in. The finish and nicely dry with the bitterness of grassy notes lingering. Actually, quite well-brewed for mixing the two styles. Smells like an early Ephémère, but tastes like McAuslan-style IPA.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber/orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of peach juice with some light hoppy floral undertone notes is enticing. Taste is a mix of sweet peach juice with light hoppy notes with a Belgian malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not really an IPA but refreshing and enjoyable nonetheless.
