The harvest has been hopped to the hilt using fresh hop cones straight from the nearby Rostrevor hop garden. The variety of hop is unique to the gardens research block. The variety was selected for "The harvest" due to its big orange and citrus aromas, with the fresh hop being added to the kettle as well as the conditioning tank. As for how the hop character translate into the beer, well open it and find out.

As "Hop Harvest", but same, a fresh hop beer with Rostrevor. Pale, hazy, loose head. The Rostrevor hop brings a slightly lemony, slightly tropical character. Mod bitter w cohumulone, gets only a touch chewy but also orangey and refreshing.

Draught, part of a tasting paddle, at Union Hotel in Newtown, Sydney, on July 11, 2013.Cloudy honey color, white head. Hoppy, citrus, malty, fresh taste. Medium yet fizzy mouthfeel, high bitterness, though well balanced. Sweet, hoppy, citrus scent.

Tap at Beer Temple - Amsterdam. Pours clear yellow with a fine, white cream head. Has a kind of odd gasoline note and a bit of toasty hay. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with grass, touches of rindy citrus and dry straw bitterness. Meh.

Draught @ Beer Temple. Hazy pale yellow color, medium sized slightly creamy white head. Smell malts, citrus, hops. Taste malts, citrus, hops, subtile bitterness. Slightly sticky mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Nice, pleasant to drink APA.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of yeast, lemons, straw, and a bit of wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, hay, and a bit of malt, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light. Disappointing for a fresh hop beer.

On tap at Beer Temple. Hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, oranges, flowers, nice and fresh. Flavour is medium sweet, lemon and mostly sweet oranges, citrus bitter finish. Light bodied, prickly carbonation. Nice refreshing stuff, tasted like a fruit beer.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Pale blonde color, hazy. Large white rocky head. Aroma’s boast out of the glass: citrus, resin, herbal hops, very refreshing, acidic almost, with something funky retronasal (smoke? wood?). Flavor is very mild in comparison, grainy, lightly bitter. Body is thin. Medium bitter finish, more aroma than bitter from the hops. Slightly dry. Interesting, but a big difference between aroma & flavor.
