28/VII/17 - 25cl bottle from a Jumbo supermarket @ holidays - BB: II/2019 (2017-1145)
Clear amber beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, malty, banana, some caramel, hint of vanilla, sugary. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of banana, sweet, bit sugary, some alcohol, quite some caramel. Aftertaste: sweet, dried fruits, caramel, ripe banana, fudge, more ripe banana. Pretty decent!

Fles gekregen van Roelzie1986. Het is een roodbruin bier met een dunne schuimkraag. De smaak is zoet, caramel achtig met hints van rozijnen. Lekker bier!

300ml Bottle (Thanks Borresteijn) - Copper with some orangey tinges and a slight haze. Leather, raisins and some earthy notes in the aroma. Fruity, vinous and fairly rich taste with notes of Dundee cake, cherries, leather and marzipan.

Color hazy deep amber colour with floating particles, small off-white frothy head, recedes after a while, good lacing. Sweet malty aroma, barley, toasted, bread, speculaas, raisins, dates, roasted sugar, alcohol. Taste medium sweet, light bitter, roasty, bit of coffee, barley malts. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste medium sweet, slightly bitter, roasted malts. A one-dimensional but overall decent strong ale.
