Zwaar karakteristiek amberkleurig bier. EBC 41.

30 cl. bottle @ home. Pours cloudy amber with a thin off-white head. Some sediment from the bottle is also floating in the glass. Aroma of yeast, caramel and raisins. Taste is bittersweet with some slightly burnt roasted malts. Overall it has potential but somehow it tastes rushed and not as good as it can be.

Bottle that I picked up from a Mitra off licence, Amsterdam, 29.09.11 consumed at Isobels, Eardisley, Herefordshire, 14.10.11 Reddy amber in colour with a touch of haze and a light beige head. Soft in the mouth, warming, touch nutty and spicy. Didn’t realise this was quite as strong as it was, nice beer though. . A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Bottle 33cl bought at store in Bodegraven, Holland.

Decent winterbier, but below average. Too strong alcohol present, taste is ok but overall it’s a little unbalanced.

This beer looks pretty nice and smells pretty good also. Taste was a bit alcoholic and that ruined it a bit.
