(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with foamy, tan head. Malty, spicy nose with caramel, yeast, orange, hay, red berries, honey, minerals and flowers. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, hay, toasty malt, yeast, honey, hints of raspberries and ripe peaches, a slight tartness in a spicy finish with low bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Complex, harmonious and quite tasty. Very nice.

75cl bottle from Geers. 2019 edition. Hazy amber with a slowly dissipating, frothy, tan head. Aroma of red apple, plum, pear, elderberry, dried apricot, cake, caramel, clove. Taste has sweet apple, pear & dried plum wrapped in a cake-like & caramelly malty body, but the sweetness is delicately balanced by accents of herbs, yeast & sour berries. Herbal & grassy hoppy finish, more dried fruit & spices; warming alcohol glow hinting at (fruit) jenever ('Obstler'). Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Nice diner sipper.

75cl bottle from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: big, egg-white, quick gone. C: coppery, hazy. A: rich malty, mellow fruity, caramel, leafy, spicy, honey, bit toast. T: medium to full malty base, a lot of honey, caramel, sweet mellow fruity, bit spicy, toast, cinnamon, citrus touch, soft carbonation, quite nice balanced, enjoyed.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Ambrata carica, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianco-sporca media. Al naso esteri, banana, solvente, medicinale. In bocca è dolce con chiusura vegetale e leggera acidità. Corpo medio-pieno, carbonazione leggera. In cattivo stato.

Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Orange amber with big frothy beige bubbly head. Aroma is slightly sour, malty and fruity. Bit stinky and a bit spicy. Taste is plummy, fruity and a bit lactic sour. Quite creamy in the mouth. Strange and interesting beer.
