Cask at Argyll Arms. Pours clear yellow with a soft, white head. Biscuit aroma with some sour fruits - I fear the beer may be off. Flavor is slightly better with some floral hops and sweet, bready malts. Light to medium in body with soft carbonation. Finishes bitter with some grass and sour citrus. Iโ€™m guessing this should have been different.

50cl bottle bought in Cambridge. Straw with a billowing cream head; light grassy hop aroma with some sickly malts; rich in the mouth with buttery malts, some citrus and honey; but a rather disappointing lack of finish.

[500ml bottle at 4.7% from Tescoโ€™s, Aylsham, Norfolk] Gold-bronze with small, dissipating white head. Very fizzy - mouthfeel of a pilsner. Tastes like a pilsner too - leafy, grassy. Nothing like the wheat beer that the bottle claims it is. Disappointing.

Bottle, 4.7%. Weak hay aroma. Almost clear yellow colour. The flavour is fruity and slightly sweet. Not bad except a little paper in the finish.

Bottle picked up at Vale Brewery shop, Brill, Bucks, consumed 11-07-08 Pours hazy golden but with barely any head to speak of. Aroma of banana and wheat these two are also very much in there in the mouth has a nice soft gentle fizziness and for a English Wheat beer I reckon it tastes pretty good. A6 A3 F7 P3 Ov13 3.2 Had this again on Cask at The Windham Arms, Sheringham, North Norfolk 14-06-09 Pours gold with a thin white rim for a head. was in good nick. Light wheatiness, touch of citrus, even a little light caramel. This was another seemingly ordinary rated beer that was served in excellent nick, I thoroughly enjoyed this beer and have ramped the score up accordingly. A7 A5 F7 P4 Ov14 3.7
