Deep blond color; giant thick head. Very nice aroma, spicy, some malt, cellar, classic Belgian. The taste is malty, but it’s spoiled by what for me it’s a too high bitterness, unmatched in Belgian beers. The final as well is characterized by this dry bitterness.

Golden colour, with a magnificent head and a beautiful lace. Pleasant spicy hop aroma, sour & fruity. Good mouth sensation, sweet in the front and bitter (tart) in the end, passing through a well married sourness. Quite good malt in the taste and hop in the palate, pretty long and dry.

Hazy yellow orange. Looks a bit like arabier and has just as much , if not more, carbonation and white head. Very yeasty like de dolles other beers. Fruits and spices and very abstract and different from the average Belgium beer. ! Great, but doesnt really has its own style like ex. arabier, oerbier and stille nacht!

Bottle. Deep old gold/orange colour thin tight off white head. Fine beer. Hops bit of biscuity malt on nose with orange peel in mouth and lively hop finish. Goodish beer but not spectacular 3.55. Re rate on draught at 't Brugs Beertje Brugge hazy orange gold colour lasting white head .hoppy. super fresh flavour. I mean it's delicious. A perfect Belgian hoppy pale ale. Super hoppy. Fresh hops. Delicious. Amazing. Lovely.

Bottle. Gusher. The head kept flowing slowly out of the bottle. Yeasty, very spicy aroma with a hint of citrus. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Head is white, creamy and quite unstable. Quite dry flavour, reminding me of Chimay. But also quite vinous and fruity without getting sweet. Aftertaste is also dry, bitter, perhaps a hint of mold.

(Bottle 33 cl) Orange golden, hazy or perhaps rather murky, with a gigantic head that leaves a good lacing as it slowly collapses. Very flowery nose and citric touches throughout. But it’s the bitter hops that completely dominates this - it’s very, very hoppy indeed. With some late sweetness. Another unusual beer from De Dolle - but far from their best. 300198

Bottled (as De Dolle 2002 Museum Bier). Hazy pale yellow colour with huge white foamy head. Citric malty and yeasty flavour. Witbier like, but with strong alcoholic flavour. Citric, bitter aftertaste.

Bottled, labelled as Museumbier (BB 09/2005)
Very hazy orange, huge cloudy white head. De Dolle nose: yeast, banana, leather and lemon. Smooth, carbonated, medium-bodied. Lemony with late citric bitterness and spices, some funky horseplanket flavors. When warms, gets more sweet notes.

Bottle: Poured a real hazy dark yellow color beer with a super huge head with excellent retention. Aroma is dominated by strong yeast with some notes of cloves. Taste is also dominated by yeast but is also well balance by the malt and some spices. The end is quite bitter and the body is full. Another gem from this fine brewery.

Hazy golden colour. Huge, thick head. Yeasty citrus aroma. Fairly light bodies. Somewhat fruity with a intense, long resiny, piney bitterness.
